A house of Assembly aspirant on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in Enugu State Charles Ngwoke has assured on youth empowerment, education and human capital development if given the mandate to represent Nsukka West constituency in the state house of assembly.
He said that his aspiration to become a lawmaker hinges on the desire to propel development through youth empowerment and lauded Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for making Enugu State safe and providing high level playing ground for all.
He however, bemoaned the quality of education, youth unemployment and poor health care facilities in the country saying that he is going to contribute immensely to alleviate the needs of the people of his constituency. Ngwoke said he will put up a proposal that would attract international organization, donor agencies to the constituency for rapid human and infrastructural development of the constituency and the state in general.. .
The aspirant who spoke with journalists shortly after declaring his ambition at the PDP secretariat in Nsukka, explained that grassroots development is key to state and national development.
He noted that he is poised to facilitate infrastructural development of the constituency through quality representation and youth empowerment if given the mandate in 2019.
Ngwoke expressed happiness over smooth governance of the state under Ugwuanvyi, pointing that he joined the race because Governor
Ugwanyi, since he took over the mantle of leadership in the state, both lives and property were assured throughout the three geo-political zones of the state.
He called on other aspirants in state and national housed of assembly to queue to the dictates of the party which is supreme and not to see the contest as do or die affair in the state.
